Border Land School Division believes that every employee benefits from ongoing Professional Development.  Border Land School Division expects all employee groups to participate in the Division’s Professional Development sessions.

 

School activities requiring staff participation will not be scheduled during Divisional Professional Development sessions. Medical and dental appointments should not be scheduled on Professional Development days. In special circumstances, permission may be granted by the Principal after consultation with the Superintendent.

 

All full-time teachers shall attend Professional Development days. 

 

Part-time teachers are expected to attend all Professional Development sessions.  Part time teachers will be compensated for the additional time worked.
