Particulars:
The successful candidate will retain a 1.0 FTE (100%) term physical education teaching position at Shevchenko School. Shevchenko is a Kindergarten-Grade 12 school with about 320 students located in Vita, Manitoba. This term teaching position will commence September 16, 2024 and concludes June 27, 2025. Subjects to be taught include, but not limited to: grades 4 to 8 physical education, grades 9 to 12 physical education and health education. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff and students is essential. Previous experience teaching physical and health education is considered an asset. This position will be open for applications until filled.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the collective agreement between Border Land School Division and the Border Land Teachers’ Association of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
