Public notice is hereby given that the Border Land School Division intends to conduct the following Pesticide Control Program during 2012

 1.      To control noxious weeds on School Division properties within the Rural Municipality of Rhineland including the Town of Altona, the Town of Gretna and the Village of Rosenfeld

 -The herbicides used will include Par III, Banvel, MCPA, 2-4-D amine, Round-Up and Dyvel

2.     To control the following insect pests including grasshoppers, mosquitoes, elm bark beetles, cankerworms, etc. 

-The insecticides to be used include Dimethoate, Malathion and Bacillus thuringiensis

The projected dates of application will be from May 1, 2012 - October 31, 2012

 The public may send written submissions or objections within 15 days of the publication of the notice to the department below
